Elaine practises in the area of litigation and alternative dispute resolution with a focus on commercial litigation, property, workplace relations and building and construction disputes.

Energetic and tough in her approach, she offers a realistic assessment of both legal and factual issues. Having worked as seconded inhouse counsel for Queensland Rail and an American hard rock mining company, Elaine has an appreciation of commercial outcomes rather than legal “red tape” in driving the direction of a dispute resolution process.

Elaine has acted for a wide range of clients in disputes including small business, developers, government owned corporations, banking institutions, insurers, tourism operators and foreign governments.

She is an effective communicator and prides herself on the timely and cost-effective delivery of legal services.
