Specialist Accreditation

At Miller Harris Lawyers we have lawyers who are accredited specialists in business law, property law and family law.

Accreditation is an important regulation in all industries to officially recognise a professional's credentials, and none more so than within the legal system. In 1995 the Queensland Law Society established the Specialist Accreditation Program to:

• provide opportunities for practitioners to be recognised in their chosen field of law
• acknowledge leading specialist practitioners in their area of expertise, making the public and other professionals within the industry aware of their achievements and their professional standing

The accreditation process is challenging and those who succeed in achieving this accreditation must complete an advanced, peer-reviewed assessment program specific to their field of expertise, as well as proving extensive legal experience. Accreditation is highly regarded within the legal profession.
