Sean is an experienced business and commercial lawyer, having practised exclusively in these areas for more than 20 years.

He is one of only a handful of Queensland Law Society accredited business law specialists (Highest Achievement Award winner – 2006) and the only accredited business law specialist practising in Cairns and surrounding districts.

Sean is a strategic advisor to state and local governments, government owned corporations, public companies and small to medium sized businesses on broad spectrum of commercial matters. His experience includes advising on due diligence, the acquisition and sale of businesses, restructuring business ownership and succession, corporate governance, farming and primary industry, tourism and accommodation, liquor licensing, risk management and compliance.  He has a particular interest in maritime law and acts for some of North Queensland’s premier shipping and maritime operators.  

Sean is a former director and deputy Chairperson of a public company providing specialist educational services to indigenous communities of North Queensland.
