Tim practises extensively in the fields of insurance and commercial litigation.

Tim’s strategic approach to practice lends itself to what is now his primary area of practice - insolvency and reconstruction.

Whether assisting in reconstruction, debt driven administration or secured creditor appointments, Tim’s depth of experience, and commercial approach yields dividends to his clients.

Tim’s significant involvements in the field of insolvency include Compass Airlines (I), Qintex Limited, ATSIC Housing Co-Operative, KEL Builders and Marlin Homes.

Tim’s insurance experience includes acting for Australian Associated Motor Insurance Limited, Suncorp Insurance, WorkCover Queensland and Mercantile Mutual Insurance.

In addition, Tim practises in industrial and employment law. His clients include the Trust Corporation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cairns, the largest employer in north Queensland. His experience includes employment agreements, dismissal, workers’ entitlements, disputes and anti-discrimination claims.

Tim is a member of the IPAA and the Law Council of Australia, and serves on the Board of Finance for St Andrew’s College Redlynch.
