Nigel is the only Queensland Law Society accredited property law specialist in Cairns. Only practitioners who have extensive experience in property law and successfully complete a rigorous assessment process are eligible for accreditation as a specialist. Nigel received the highest achievement award for the property law specialist accreditation program in 2007.
Nigel has more than 15 years experience in property law, planning and environmental law, native title and indigenous issues and general commercial transactions. He advises property developers, land owners, farmers, business owners and private individuals on a wide range of property related matters including sales and acquisitions, leases, development structuring and titling, and planning and environmental laws.
Nigel also acts for local governments in property and law enforcement matters.
Nigel is the Vice President of the Cairns branch of the Urban Development Institute of Australia.
