We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, and detail‑focused Legal Secretary to join our Commercial team. This role offers the chance to work closely with a Senior Associate on a broad range of commercial and property matters, while also contributing to the wider secretarial team within the firm.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing high‑level secretarial support to a Senior Associate and the wider Commercial team.
  • Assisting with commercial and property transactions for a diverse client base, including SMEs, developers, and large corporate clients.
  • Preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and dictation with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, coordinating client communication, and supporting day‑to‑day workflow.
  • Maintaining file administration, including monitoring deadlines, matter progression, and document management.
  • Collaborating with the secretarial team to provide support across the department as required.

Who we’re looking for:

  • We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate:

    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a legal secretary or in a similar legal support role.
    • Fast and accurate typing skills (70+ wpm preferred).
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and take a proactive approach to workload management.
    • A client‑focused mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
    • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
    • Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills.
    • A collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork.
    • High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
